This is Louisa Beaman. She married Joseph in a field disguised as a man with a hat and a coat. George A. Smith named a settlement "Fort Louisa" in her honor, the name didn't last long, eventually they changed the name of the town to Parawon. After J.S.'s death she married Brigham Young and came west.
